Rob Woods is a member of the Muskoday First Nation. Rob has a passion for creating economic development and employment opportunities for Aboriginal people. He has worked with the FSIN, STC, and Whitecap and as a consultant. He is currently completing his CIBA program at the Edwards School of Business and will continue on to pursue his B.Comm.
Rob is a single father to four year old twins, Charlie and Abigail, and has faced a serious health challenge this past year. Rob was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, early in 2008. But with the supports at the Edwards School of Business, his family and some very, good friends, Rob is determined to persevere.
Rob's parents are elders and he grew up in a supportive, alcohol and drug-free home. He is very involved in his culture and is proud of his identity.
Rob is employed as a Rawlco Aboriginal Business Student Assistant.
