Mitch Villeneuve is a Métis and was raised in Meadow Lake. Mitch is currently pursuing his B.Comm. at the Edwards School of Business. Mitch has received numerous scholarships including the Rawlco Award for Continuing Business Education (twice), SaskTel Scholarship, Louis Riel Scholarship, and the U of S Undergraduate Scholarship.
He actively supports entrepreneurial development and is very involved in ace: Saskatchewan (nowSIFE). Mitch is currently employed as a Rawlco Aboriginal Business Student Assistant and working on projects aimedat promoting entrepreneurialism to Aboriginal youth.
Mitch feels strongly about the importance and value of the University of Saskatchewan to the province as evidenced by the clear commitment of the University to First Nations and Métis people. He credits his parents for encouraging him to find his passion and to pursue the infinite opportunities out there.
